The problem with this is when extended a gap is created (as in the below picture) and intruders can spread the Razor wire apart to step through it.
Selecting clipped or unclipped Razor wire?
The simple answer is Clipped Razor wire offers a denser profile that has no gaps of a sufficient size for someone to be able to squeeze through.
Each loop is clipped to the next in either 3 or 5 places along the whole length of the concertina coil and therefore cant be over stretched.
